Father’s Day is about giving and taking.
\nBut for both, of course, it is important that it be something good.
\nGin For example!
\nIn the end, you just want to drink that bottle of gin you give to your dad together, in whole or in part.
\nOr enjoy that bottle you get from your kids together (depending on how old they are, of course).
\nAnd otherwise, they get to watch you enjoy it.  <\/p>\n

The London No. 1 Gin<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This stylish bottle of blue gin would not look out of place in any liquor cabinet.
\nThis gin<\/a> is English-made but from a Spanish owner.
\nAfter all, Spain is the birthplace of the gin renaissance in the 1990s.
\nThis gin uses some classic gin spices with some more typsic, such as bergamot and savory (sage-like).
\nThe blue color comes from an infusion of iris flowers after distillation.
\nThe gin is sweetly floral with juniper, with dry and fresh citrus at the same time.
\nThe aftertaste runs to some sweetness.
\nDrink: G&T or Collins<\/a> <\/p>\n

Tanqueray N\u00ba Ten<\/h4>\n

This is a classic though.
\nBased on the original Tanqueray London Dry Gin, with 4 botanicals, this N\u00ba Ten is enhanced with Chamomile and 3 types of citrus, including grapefruit peel.
\nBecause it is distilled in the Tiny Ten, the experimental still, this gin is thus called N\u00ba Ten.
\nJuniper clearly dominates in this flavor, but the taste is very floral and yet soft despite the 47.3% alcohol.   Nice to make a Martini<\/a> with! \"The<\/p>\n

Nord\u00e9s Gin<\/h4>\n

We are back in Spain, where this delicious gin from Galicia is made.
\nA very spicy gin, based on sage, bay leaf, eucalyptus, mint, lemon verbana and sea fennel, among other ingredients.
\nIn addition, the base of the gin is alcohol from the Albari\u00f1o grape.
\nThis makes Nord\u00e9s Gin<\/a> one of the most aromatic gins you can find.
\nNord\u00e9s Gin was founded in 2004 by 3 friends: a sommelier, a wine importer and a distiller.
\nIn their small distillery in San Pedro de Sarand\u00f3n, amidst the wonders of nature, this gin is distilled.   With this Nord\u00e9s Gin, you can nicely make a Collins<\/a>.  <\/p>\n

Scapegrace<\/h4>\n

How nice to see a New Zealand gin in a Dutch “cellar bottle.
\nThis model of bottle was used by genever distillers to best transport bottles.
\nThrough a unique process, Scapegrace has managed to make a truly black-colored gin.
\nWhich, by the way, turns pink when tonic is added.
\nThis gin was conceived by two brothers-in-law, who shared their love for gin.
\nIn 2014, they opened their own distillery.
\nThis Black is the latest addition, with 12 botanicals, including cardamom, clove, cinnamon and iris root.  <\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Lowlander I.P.A. Re-Genever<\/h4>\n

Lowlander can confidently be called the most creative brewer in the Netherlands.
\nNot only in the field of brewing itself, but also in their marketing.
\nThey already released an IPA based on recycled pine trees.
\nAnd of course they scored a monster hit with their Tompoucebier that they developed together with Hema.
\nTheir latest product is not a beer, but it is based on it.
\nDuring the lockdown, the finest beers were languishing in the hospitality industry.
\nLowlander collected these and had them distilled into a Genever at Wynand Fockink<\/a>.
\nThe result is a wonderfully smooth Genever, which already has unmistakable I.P.A. in the nose.
\nDelicious soft notes of honey and hops can be tasted back.
\nA wonderful limited release that you really must have.
