\nAnd rightly so, a distillery is a universe and the master in it is Master of the Universe. <\/span><\/p>\n

But that doesn’t necessarily make the gin good, of course.
\nTo understand what we mean, by real gin, it is good to understand where we are talking about Hayman’s True English Gin.
\nHayman’s is the only family distillery where gin is still made the traditional way: in a slow, two-day distillation process. <\/span><\/p>\n

Only ten very carefully selected botanicals are distilled along with British grains in traditional copper stills.
\nExactly as the Hayman family’s forefathers did in 1863.
\nThe makers are especially proud of the role coriander seed plays in their distillate.
\nOther flavorings include licorice, angelica root, nutmeg, cinnamon, cassia bark, orris root and dried lemon and orange peels. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn fact, in October 1969, Christopher Hayman joined the family business, of which he remains a major part today. <\/span><\/p>\n

The result is a powerful, but also a bright and balanced True English Gin.
\nLike mr.
\nHayman himself, it is a gin with a robust character: namely, an ABV of 50%!
\nAs you might expect, the flavor profile is that of a classic London Dry, with juniper, fresh citrus and even some peppery undertones.
\nAlthough it is a very balanced London Dry Gin, the high alcohol content gives you an even stronger intensity of the botanicals, with warming spices in the background. <\/span><\/p>\n
